Payments Expert Training

Payments Expert Training workshops provide insight into the most current topics surrounding various payments channels, including ACH, check and risk, challenging the experienced payments professional.

Qualifying individuals can also earn a WesPay Star pin annually by attending a Payments Expert Workshop.

What is a WesPay Star?


A WesPay Star is an individual who...

  1. Has earned either the Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP), or National Check Professional (NCP) designation,
  2. OR passed the ACH, Check or Cross-Channel Risk Network Certificate
  3. AND completes an Expert Training Workshop (includes the annual Payments Symposium pre-conference workshop)

WesPay Stars receive a pin each year they attend the Expert Training, for each corresponding professional designation. Pins are awarded at Payments Symposium, and are mailed to those unable to be there in person.
